Ana Rodriguez

 Third Grade Teacher

I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles and several years later received my Teaching Credential from the same institution. I have been in the field of education for 18 years.  My career began as a teacher’s aide.  I then became a teacher at Victoria Avenue Elementary.  My teaching experience includes Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade.  I transferred to Madison Elementary when it first opened. I am also a South Gate resident.  My children have attended Madison Elementary School. My daughter is currently in the Magnet program at South Gate Middle School.  I believe in our public schools in South Gate and in my community.  My husband and I are involved in South Gate’s tournament baseball team, the South Gate Little Cardinals.  My hobbies include gardening, visiting museums with my children, attending baseball games, and participating in a book club with fellow colleagues. 

Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de California, Los Angeles y varios años después recibí mi credencial de maestro de la misma institución. He estado en el campo de la educación durante 18 años. Mi carrera comenzó como ayudante de maestra. Luego me convirtí en maestra de primaria de la escuela Victoria Avenue Primaria. Mi experiencia incluye el kindergarten, primer grado, y tercer grado. Me trasladé a Madison Primaria en sus inicios. Yo también soy un residente de South Gate. Mis hijos han asistido a la Escuela Primaria Madison. Mi hija está actualmente en el programa Magnet en South Gate Middle School. Creo que en nuestras escuelas públicas en South Gate y en mi comunidad. Mi esposo y yo estamos involucrados en el equipo de South Gate, el torneo de béisbol, de South Gate Little Cardinals. Mis aficiones son la jardinería, visitas a museos con mis hijos, asistiendo a partidos de béisbol, y participar en un club de lectura con mis colegas.
